We made it! Cam's friends Nick and his wife Tanya picked us up at the airport and brought us to the nearest In-n-Out so Cam could get his fix and I could try my first In-n-Out burger. They messed up my burger so we're going to have to go again so I can get the true experience.
We decided to go out for happy hour down the street and Christina (my friend from college) met up with us. We had a blast and were home, in bed (Nick's couch) by 10:30pm so we could get ready for our big day.
Today we woke up and drove to La Jolla so we could kayak around and see the caves. They were soooo cool. We swam in the caves by the sea lions and on our way back we saw Leopard Sharks swimming under us!
We are getting really pumped for our upcoming trip. We can't believe we haven't worked in almost 1 month and we still have about 2 months to go. We drive up to LA tomorrow to meet up with the Barajas for one night before we take off on Monday!!!
